On Monday last week there was a new major update being released for Minecraft! Some of the new features include:
Bamboo jungle biomes and bamboo blocks
Introducing two new animals fox and panda
Sweet berry bushes and berries
A new crossbow-wielding villager kind called pillagers living in pillager outposts and will be attacking and raiding villages together with ravengers. Raids will have enemies attacking the villages in waves, each harder than the last one.
Villagers can now have 15 different kinds of jobs ranging from librarian, fisherman to stone mason. Their clothes will not only match the profession, but also in what biome the village lies in.
Composters which makes bone meal out of plants. Should be an ease of life improvement for Logans white concrete constructions!
Other new items include new faster furnaces for melting food and metals respectively, lanterns, campfires and scaffolding
Signs, slabs, stairs and walls now come in a lot more different wood/stone types
Wandering traders
