Are dogs routes preset or do they change each round?
Also, have we been raiding with the same leader each time because apparently progress is saved on your fireteam leader's account? (first i heard about this was today, I assumed we'd have to do the whole lot in one sitting)
Preset, but with occasional bullshit
No, disconnects and bugs have meant that we've switched fireteam leader mid-raid
I think raid progress resets each week.
But once we get it down we could theoretically do it in two a three sessions during the week once we have all the rooms down
You have to do it in one session - if everyone disconnects then the progress is lost. Or so I thought??
Was a friend on discord who randomly put me onto it because he has the raid finished.
I just did a little digging:
When you finish an area your progress is saved. When loading progress it seems to be tied to the fireteam leader.
When you return to the raid, it puts you back at the start even if you have some checkpoints...and then you have to use some tunnels underneath the main building to skip the lobby/banner stuff and go straight to the inner rooms.
Doors you've already done will be completed, the door to your current challenge will be open when you get back to it.

.Let's say you are the one who was the fireteam leader, it won't matter how many people leave the checkpoint is tied to you.
So, if you finished Gauntlet and are up to bath, the next time you come in as the fireteam leader you will be at baths. If you go into someone else's fireteam the checkpoint will be tied to that leader. So, if they finished Dogs, but didn't do Gauntlet, you'd be helping them with Gauntlet.
Yes you can, let's say your party members get to the bath house and you decide to quit for the day any one of your party members could start the game and you'll be at the boathouse checkpoint. Although the next time you do the raid the leader of the Fireteam must have the check point. Let's say one of your buddies didn't do the raid with you and he was the leader and started it you would be back at the beginning. Also, your checkpoints reset at the weekly reset which is on Tuesday. Hope this helps.
