Right, I can't find any good 8 player setups, so we're gonna play a 9 player setup with the assumption that the game started at Night, and that [Kelika] was the first nightkill.
(So, I'll randomly assign myself Kelika a non-mafia role and then die kill him )

Night 0 - Kelika was killed. (Kelika was a townie).
Day 1 - Majority vote for a "No Lynch"
Night 1 - almightyBob was killed. (almightyBob was a townie).
Day 2 - Gunmens was lynched. (gunmens was a mafia goon).
Night 2 - Nobody died
Day 3 - Seric died of old age

Night Actions
Cop - Investigate one target per night, you get told if they are mafia or townie (but not their role).
Tracker - Track one target per night, you get told if they targeted another player (but not the action performed)
Doctor - Target one player per night, player cannot be killed by mafia that night
Jailkeeper - Same as doctor, but you also roleblock target (that person cannot use their night action).
1-Shot - You will survive one nightkill.

Rules:

* This is a game. Have fun. Don't let things get personal.
* During Day, you may vote for the player you want to lynch. Votes should be in the form Vote: Player or they may not be counted. It is helpful to "Unvote" when switching your vote to a different player, though this is not required. Please bold these actions.
* Whenever a player has a majority in votes, that player will be lynched, his or her role will be revealed, and Night will begin. Once a player has reached a majority, no votes or unvotes will be registered. You may also Vote: No Lynch; a majority of this vote will end Day without a death.
* If discussion lags or Day goes on for too long, a deadline may be set. If no one has reached a majority at the deadline, no one will be lynched.
* During Night, players with role abilities may send targets for those abilities. Choices are due by the posted deadline.
* Don't edit/delete posts. Use the "Preview" button to look over your post before you submit it. This is to provide evidence to indicate who is Mafia and who is Town based on past actions and words.
* Don't quote any PMs from the Moderator.

As the sun rises i exit my shanty motorhome covered in dust from its travels across the globe over the summer seasons. Yawning i gaze across the landscape of the little town with which i have decided to settle (break down) in, it will be a fine place to stay for a while theres everything i could ever need: tavern, inn and a brothel. The halloween decorations are outstanding especially the dummy in the gallows. But then the crowing of ravens alerts me to something ... it isnt a dummy. "My God i thought i could outrun those horrible murderous mafia men but they've found me and i've led them to these innocent people i must rouse the locals and notify the authorities about this tragic murder. But keep my suspicions hidden i dont want the mafia suspecting i know and then getting me aswell.

"Oh good townsfolk, one of your own has been murdered by these vile scum. does anybody know of this deceased mans recent where abouts or of who he was in company of before his untimely demise?"

What's all this then? We've had two replies and you're already throwing around votes? This is either standard early game impatience or some hard-line investigative strats, I'm going with the latter - generally you're a very patient person. I agree we ought to get things moving however, we're coming up to 24 hours since the game started and only me, you and Tim have replied so far.

I'd like to hear what Vox, Gunmens, sn0w, Rev and Hawk have to say.

No Kelika really, wow I was just with him last night down at Macs karaoke Bar, his singing wasn't that bad ... well maybe it was, he was adamant we should sing Aqua's barbie girl together, who will sing with me now? We had the rest of the Aqua hits still to go through ... He always said we should play The fast food rockers song at the funeral.

I can communicate again! Sorry for the quiet spell my keyboard was temporarily broken but the mafia(kittens) and I could not remember my login for mobile usage.

So we have a comment saying yay stroopwafels and then the next one Is says the mafia have stolen them all... I cannot reconcile both comments!
