First playthrough plans

Note for the poll: Only talkin about your very first playthrough



So,

who want's to:

1 - Explore every nook and cranny, listen to every dialog, and read every lore book?
or
2 -Run straight to the end, in order to get to the good stuff (hell/inferno/sick loot)?

How will the above decision affect your choice of solo-ing or co-oping on your first playthrough?




Personally, I definately won't be X'ing any of the dialog boxes,
and I'm pretty OCD when it comes to exploring absolutely every side-section

Yeah, I'm certainly going to hit #1.

Doesn't mix so well with my desire to play with other people, though. =\

I'm going to take the highway to hell to catch up for the week and a half later i'll have to start.

I want to click 1 - a solo run through - but it depends what time my copy arrives. If It gets here at a time where there isn't lots of friends online, I'll go solo and stream it - otherwise, the temptation to savour it with friends is too much

I'll definitely play solo first. As much as I love playing co-op with friends when you first get a game, I like to take my own pace with big titles that I get involved in. If it's messing around, like Dead Island was, I'm not too fussed - although the party definitely starts at nightmare, I won't be rushing through anything. I'll be listening to all the lore articles, but I rarely have the patience to read through massive codex articles such as the items in ME3.
