You will have noticed our site has somewhat improved.

We're now running vB4 suite, which was particularly attractive as it offered a speedy, optemised CMS along with the forum. We tried to acheive this some time ago with Drupal and Playportal, but the two frameworks didn't communicate in an ideal way and it was slow.

Now we have the system in place, we are going to be producing articles on topics of interest to our geeky gaming friends. We have appointed an Editor In Chief - almightybob - who will be overseeing everything, having final approval on publishing and generally being in charge.

This thread is for you to suggest topics you'd like to see covered - be they reviews, tutorials, science, tech, whatever.....

If you think we'd find something interesting, post it here. You may not feel like writing an article on it - but someone else may.

Of course, since all members have their own blogs now, you are free to write about anything, anytime, whether that's a creative piece or just a life diary or some sort. Blogs that are considered extremely interesting, well written or holding merit in some other way, may be promoted to articles and feature on the front page.

If you would like to write for Playstuff, post here also - or PM almightybob or one of the other admins - and we'll get back to you quickly with a response.

I guess I could write some more reviews. I like getting talking about games, so I could be easily convinced to do that more.
It's likely that any reviews would rapidly increase in quality, as I develop an idea of how to do it better.

Although, caveat: Deadlines for my third-year Uni work comes first over deadlines for reviews.

Also please note - writing talent is secondary to enthusiasm. Don't feel that lack of grammar skillz or a language barrier are any impediment here. If you're interested in the subject, I will work with you to sort out any technical difficulties your writing might have before it gets published as an article. It might even improve your English if it isn't your first language

I'd need to brush up on my writing skills to be of any worth to this. Its been a while since I've written anything but notes and snippets of dialogue

games reviews would be good, and articles on gaming genre's like top 10 recent action games, or fps games, or rpg or strategy or w/e mainly because my pc is getting on and i need to know good games that arent so new and shiny that i may have missed, im starting to struggle on the new releases
