Some game footage from ~a week ago of me, Post and Seric doing some Ultimate Chicken Horse. Of course I didn't think of the ambiguity in neigh/nej ("no") at the time together with being the horse... oh well.

Also, just been trying out a new video editor in which I seem to have selected a low bitrate, apologies for that.

Anyone tried the Sea of Thieves beta?

I've been a salty sea-dog and have played a few hours with Decepti over the past 2 nights.

Apart from the terrible launcher and shitty UI the game play is quite fun. Not sure its worth the 50 price tag as the content is a bit light.

I think I have 2 more beta keys if anyone wants to try it. Although it is better with friends and I am away this weekend.

Hit me up if you want a key!

I've actually been very curious about Sea of Thieves - if you still had a spare key, I'd love to give it a shot.

Is it a Microsoft Store only kind of game? I sort of figured it wouldn't be out on Steam, given it's by Rare.

I got excited there for a moment and thought that the Waluigi fan project game had actually been made

I'm really liking the look of it, looks like a great game to play with friends.

But yeah, the pricetag and the windows store puts me off a touch.

For me, for some reason, it was having to...

    - Open the Windows store (bah)
    - Enter the beta key (thanks again)
    - Find that you can't just install it, from reviews
    - Login to the Xbox app
    - Nope, turns out it needs the Xbox Insiders app
    - Open the Windows store again, to install the Xbox Insiders App
    - Authenticate, for like, the third time
    - Xbox Insiders app allows me to install the beta by... sending me to...
    - The Windows Store app

Many years from now this will be used as a case study on why Valve took over the world.

Very unlikely - at least while Gabe is at the company.

    So uh - this happened

I had planned to watch it streamed last night but I completely forgot.

Luckily, SpaceX seems on form and uploaded a Youtube video within a couple hours of the event.

    In other news

I've been hoping the UK would adopt the 'pant' scheme since I first went over there over 10 years ago.

Now if we adopted the German scheme of getting money back for returning glass bottles for reuse as well (may as well incorporate our own version of Reinheitsgebot while you're there), we might actually make a step towards being a more ecologically responsible country.
