Thanks! I've listened to some of the songs on there and some by The 126ers sound quite similar, so I'll give all their stuff a listen and see if it's one of theirs

For the fun of Rihanna, we go back to 1984:

    Great song nonetheless, though!

Tried doing some sampling this time:

    Original for reference:

And it kinda reminds me of these guys, they're often playing in the streets of my home city:

It sounds pretty good! QOTSA is one of those bands I've always quite liked, but I never bothered to go beyond their biggest hits. An album release like this however makes me want to go and rummage through their older stuff! Any albums you guys would recommend?

Re: Musical Madness, Perhaps even Sadness.

They go for a different style between each album, this one for example sounds like it's drawing more influence from Homme's time in Eagles of Death Metal. The thing about QOTSA is due to their changing style, it can take long time fans a little time to get into the feel of a new album. By this point I just trust that I'll get into the groove of each album after a few listens, but if you're a fan of a particular style they have it's worth noting you might really like certain albums and hate others.

'...Like Clockwork' is probably my favourite album from them, had to say if it's just because it's the newest though.

Tracks of note (If I'm recommending half the tracks, you may as well just listen to the whole album):
    "I Sat by the Ocean"
    "My God Is the Sun"
    "Fairweather Friends"
    "I Appear Missing"
    "...Like Clockwork"

    Era Vulgaris
    Tracks of Note:
    "Turnin On The Screw"
    "I'm Designer"
    "Make It Wit Chu"
    "Suture Up Your Future"

    Lullabies To Paralyze
    "Everybody Knows That You're Insane"
    "Burn The Witch"
    "Little Sister"

Songs For The Deaf - The album that exploded for QOTSA back in the early 2000's, the whole thing is worth a listen.
    Tracks of Note:
"You Feel I Ain't Worth A Dollar But I Feel Like A Millionaire"
    "First It Giveth"
    "The Sky Is Fallin'"
    "Hanging Tree"
    "God Is On The Radio"
    "Mosquito Song"

Rated R - I listened to this album near enough on repeat for a summer in my early 20's, it's great
    Tracks of Note:
"Feel Good Hit of the Summer"
"The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret"
    "Leg of Lamb"
    "Auto Pilot"
    "Lightning Song"

    Further Listening:

If you listen to that and like the sounds, you could also try Josh Homme's first major band, Kyuss. Them Crooked Vultures and his other project (previously mentioned) Eagles of Death Metal are also good...After all that you can move onto Desert Sessions.

    Hope that helps :]

Based on the findings of the report, my conclusion was that this idea was not a practical deterrent for reasons which at this moment must be all too obvious. palm pilot's Avatar

Already got my tickets for the concert in Antwerp

Eagles of Death Metal originally featured Tim Vanhamel btw, make sure to give the new Millionaire album a listen!

It's quite a bit different than the classic album, but still pretty awesome.

And just because it's such a great classic in Belgium:
