It's powered by Unity though so expect masses of compatibility across multiple platforms, and the possibility of it running in browser(though that may be unlikely)

Honestly I think I'm going to stick to the original, this seems to be adding poorly implemented features for the sake of adding features.
The game didn't need more features, it needed more gameplay modes, better scoring/scoreboards and smoother or more impressive track generation.
