Why do I have work on Mondays... could have watched it first thing in the morning after someone uploads it![]()

Just finished the first episode, second episode is already viewable online for those with HBO access. But god i just want to smack Joffrey in the face, with a shovel, and a running start.
However he is one of the best cast actors in my opinion, really just like the books.
D: Virgin Media don't provide Sky Atlantic, I can't watch the new series![]()
I downloaded it too, couldn't wait for Sky to catch up
I don't think I've ever been so immersed in a tv show before, really want the next episode
also, Paradox need to make Crusader Kings: A Game of Thrones happen.

I get home... and all links to DL are dead.
Those HBO boys work fast. Ghey![]()
By all accounts he's meant to be an incredibly nice guy. Which must be awkward if people can't disassociate him from his character. If anything he's playing Joffrey as even worse than he's portrayed in the books. (which is not a criticism, Joffrey needs to be a hateful bully).
The operating costs of salvation are through the roof.
Psionically sparking brain cells 'til they're sparkling.
Good episode but I always pictured Stannis being a lot bigger and having a strong jawline. I think it made a lot of references in the books to how he always clenches his jaws. Renly also doesn't look the part, he is supposed to be a handsome loveable hero and not a scruffy unshaven guy. /fanboy mode off
Tyrion is still awesome as ever, perfect casting, absolutely spot on.

Oh my days this show/books is just the best thing. I just finished a Dance With Dragons part one.... Just as good as I remembered. Although I think maybe George RR Martin likes nasty things a bit too much.
He does seem to like incest and those of a dwarfish disposition to much......
The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.
I think margaery is the worst...The actress is 28! I know the stark kids are older...but only by a couple of years.
She should be 18 at most.
Also supposed to at least appear to be sweet and innocent to the reader/viewer for the first couple of books/seasons.
Not looking for three-ways with her brother....what, the, F**K![]()
Ya there has been a lot of spots i've seen skipped from the book which annoyed me. I was watching it with my wife last night and she goes "Why does Arya keep saying those names"
The show briefly steps in on it but the book goes into more reasoning as well as their adventures. =(
I'm ok with most of the changes, especially the Season 1 ones, whole season was awesome.
Havent episode 4 yet...but as far as last week,
I think cutting out Arya's adventures in the woods for a billion chapters is ok too, (like Tom Bombadil in LOTR...it's fairly unrelated to the main story arc) a good choice in terms of fitting everything into TV format.
(although maybe they need more episodes in this season...can't see the other books being doable in 10!)

Well she looked old enough for me to think "she's old!" and then bother to look it up...![]()
