Hey, you can type small, nearly invisible text under your post. (or invisible!) That's great! - I know neat trick isn't it ?
Hello, Stranger! Nice to have you in my sig! Feel free to leave comments! Any of them will be welcome! Some blue text here
The Sero was heeeeereeee! (although he doesn't even know!) I think it's about time we got some orange text in this.
I like tomatoes That's true, dear Stranger!I almost forgot to post here. Huh? Someone say my name?
The thing that made me sad about that link is that we did that a lot when the game first came out and I remember saying that it would have been nice if they'd put better anti-cheat technology in the qame in the first place so we wouldn't have to try to teach people a lesson ourselves. Everyone thought it would get better and be fixed but obviously not, nor has the server browser or team-speak been fixed yet.
Does it work properly now or just suck less?
I lost all patience for this game - played it for about 2 months solid then went back to TF2 and remembered why TF2 was so good.
I'm not saying it's a bad game but I've never really liked 'realistic' fighting games like CoD, BF and MoH - I prefer zombie/sci-fi and non-realistic ones. Even more so now I'm a parent (speaking of which my 7yr old daughter is now addicted to Minecraft!)
Sucks less.
It is a HUGE improvement, but yeah, it couldn't not be...
I'd say 2 monkeys working for about a month.

a popular hack from the days of DC was the afk hack, which really wasn't a hack
just another pathetic attempt to impress your mum with your high score
an idiot using the afk hack on a DC server
oh how i miss the DC ban hammer![]()

Indeed, considering developers seem to release games that are more 'unfinished' in their general bugginess, the amount of effort in patches is still less than it used to be. BC2 has had some major patches, but it is far from perfect, still a great game mind. Though most of the 'major' patches was just rebalancing of weapons, which was in fact less rebalancing and instead 'bringing weapons in line with the others of it's type' (actual patch note quote) as in, making all rifles have more similar stats. That, to me, seems like a very lazy way of 'balancing' weapons.
and then theres stuff like F1 2010 by Codemasters, they have patched once, and it caused more issues than it fixed, now they've resigned to putting extra stuff into 2011's game rather than fixing the current, and even abandonned contact with the forums.
I'm not saying every developer is like this, but Codemasters and DiCE we're talking about here. These guys are the best at what they do, yet the support is just somewhat lacklustre of late.
