I've just treated myself to the family pack of Snow Leopard for our house computers.
It was £40 for 5 licenses! Really cheap in my opinion; I have 3 intel based Mac's so it was worth getting the family pack (mac pro for main use, lappy and media mac mini).
My main reason for upgrading is that alot of my software (esp audio - Live, Logic) and the Creative Suite, all have 64 bit optemisations - and both my lap top and desktop are 64 bit hardware.
More importantly, it allows you to run 64bit Windows 7 under boot camp (ie natively but with a virtual bios).
This should mean I can get Battlefield Bad Company 2 running - but it also means I have a good and positive reason to clean install windows - as opposed to following a disastrous crash.
I'll let you know how it goes - although those of you with BFBC2 will know - cos with a bit of luck i'll be in game![]()
