I got a feeling they'll somehow tie the unlockables to the Soldier/Demo fight.
Like they'll both be fighting for the same weapons, and the winner eventually gets the unlockables.

That would basically bring the number of classes down by one. That is something they would not want to do.
Well no, I meant that if the Soldier would somehow win the fight, he gets the unlockables, and the demo gets something else/has to wait, and vice versa.
Or somehow the players decide what class will get what unlockables.
It's pretty obvious they're doing the demoman and soldier update together because they're already similar in gameplay.

Hmm, interesting. I'm sure I heard Robin Walker say somewhere (possibly through a post on tf2maps.net) that the demo update wasn't going to be done this year.
If it is demo/soldier update, it'll be a good time to get some airblast practice in.
