View Full Version : With less than a week to go.....
.... a continueation of the train thread, with the station be done in time? for the 28th.
I have loads of pics. and will post some the the days events when i can.
No one mentioned anyhting about a beer festival :S
great stuff - looking forward to seeing pics of the finshed project 8)
It's a bit too far away, otherwise I would have come to see it (and the beers of course).
I'm sooo sad my apartment doesn't have enough room to host my model railroad tracks...
I have a few of the progresion so i could do a bit of before and after pictures.
I had a great time at Christmas, my Dad has got back into his small guage railways and has been modelling a fantastic landscape; he has all the old locomotives from my childhood restored and running beautifully - even built a railworks yard round the back of a mountain for servicing them 8)
lucky bastard :D
Here are some old pictures (low quality, sorry) of my track at my parents home.
It's still a mess...
i have trains and everything, stations, harry potter set (i know but the train is good) i did have two other steam train but one broke then shortly after the second one broke, toke them to the shop and they said but they were to far gone. sad day. i do have the n guage on a board and the flying scotsmen and stuff.
I got a hugely unfinished warhammer table, does that counts?
Lol makes me think of Lego Loco, which I used to play years ago :D
lol, i so wanted that.
i got my n guage at age of 5, loved it. then later on i got alot of free aold stuff from friends, i got some mags and a train from a nieghtbour of my dads that died. he had a massive one.
The first day is over and im tired. it went so well. over 3000 people came. only 3 chairs broke and one sleeper but there easy to replace, so not bad. it was over 40 tone on the track.
ill get some pics up to night,
anyway i can upload fast and loads?
Were getting a little train hopefully. only 25 tonne i think but still a train. its ?20,000.
looks great. Best way to load loads of photo's is using the Playportal gallery: http://gallery.coltsplayground.net - i'll be moving it to gallery.playportal.net asap, but nothing will change for the user.
@ Mac - love the dutch loco mate 8)
IM planning this year to get my workshop sorted out and get my track set up in there, its a bit bigger than a garage, maybe also in the garden around the pond with some bridges, not too fast or they will be falling in. it will look brilliant. (could you do that?)
We have the train, "Annie"
Cant wait till the week end. I is buzzing.
Wow! Looking great!
I have real fun tonight i had my, OO gauge out round my nans suprised it all worked. Had it all around the living room. then got out my N gauge and that works, they hadded been out in 3 years. though i have lost two trains, a shunter and a little steam train. cant think where they have gone.
Today we dug out the signal box, we have found when they took it down they just pushed the walls in and filled it up. it was also the tallest around so it couls see the train at the stations around it.
